What safety issues should be paid attention to when installing LED Wall Light?

Update:22 Nov

1. Power off and protection
Before installing the LED wall light, be sure to cut off the power supply of the relevant circuit to avoid the risk of electric shock. It is recommended to wear insulating gloves and goggles to prevent electric shock to the hands or accidental injury to the eyes during installation.

2. Installation location and stability
Make sure that the installation location of the LED wall light is away from flammable and explosive items, and maintain an appropriate distance to ensure heat dissipation. Choose a solid and stable wall for installation, and avoid installing it in a position that is easy to loosen or fall off. Use suitable mounting brackets and screws to ensure that the LED wall light is firmly fixed to prevent it from falling off or shaking during use.

3. Electrical connection
According to the wiring requirements of the LED wall light, correctly connect the live wire, neutral wire and ground wire (if any). Ensure that the wiring is firm and reliable, and avoid the exposed wire part from contacting metal or humid environment. During the electrical connection process, use insulating tape or insulating sleeve to wrap the exposed wire part to prevent electric shock and short circuit.

4. Inspection and maintenance
After the installation is completed, carefully check whether the LED wall light is firmly fixed, the wiring is correct, and the switch is flexible and reliable. Clean and maintain the LED wall lamp regularly to ensure that there is no dust and dirt accumulation on the surface of the lamp and the heat sink.
Check whether the electrical connection is loose or damaged, and replace aging wires and components in time.

5. Follow specifications and standards
During the installation process, follow the relevant electrical safety specifications and standards to ensure that the installation of the LED wall lamp meets safety requirements. Read the product manual of the LED wall lamp carefully before installation to understand the product's performance characteristics, installation methods and safety precautions.

6. Other precautions
Try to avoid long-term continuous operation of the LED wall lamp to reduce the load of the lamp and extend its service life. Try to avoid installing the LED wall lamp in a humid environment to prevent the risk of short circuit or electric shock caused by moisture in the electrical components.
